Think big and start small
The Chief Executive Officer of Adehyie Kreation, Mr. Emmanuel Nyampong, has urged Ghanaian youth to think big but start small when beginning a business.
According to Mr. Nyampong, starting a business requires both vision and determination. He emphasized that while it is important to think big, one must begin on a small scale and have the zeal to pursue their goals. He noted that individuals with business ideas should be willing to take risks and act promptly rather than waiting for the “perfect” moment.
He further explained that starting a business does not necessarily require large amounts of money or strong connections. Instead, what is most important is the willingness and determination to begin. He added that failure is a natural part of entrepreneurship, and starting small makes it easier to manage and overcome such challenges.
Mr. Nyampong also advised aspiring entrepreneurs to start with the resources they already have. This approach reduces potential losses and eliminates the pressure that often comes with taking loans. Starting small, he said, allows the business to grow steadily and sustainably.
Additionally, he highlighted the importance of keeping proper records. According to him, maintaining accurate data helps business owners track progress and determine whether their business is performing well or not.
In conclusion, Mr. Nyampong stressed that entrepreneurship is not easy. However, with determination, proper planning, and the willingness to start small and grow gradually, success is achievable.
